Terms of service

These terms govern use of the CaseBase website and the CaseBase service. By accessing the site or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

CaseBase provides tools for MPs' offices and related teams, including (depending on your subscription) casework and inbox features, campaign tooling, and an MP website builder. Features may change as we improve the product.

2. Accounts and access

Access to the platform is provided to authorised users (for example your office). You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for activity under your accounts. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Your data and responsibilities

Where you process personal data about constituents or others in CaseBase, you act as a controller (or processor under instruction) as applicable. You agree to use the service lawfully, including respecting UK GDPR, marketing rules and parliamentary standards. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle data as a provider; your organisation may need a separate data processing agreement for production use.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service — for example by attempting to break security, overload systems, send unlawful content, or use CaseBase in a way that infringes others' rights. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches.

5. Third-party services

The service may integrate with or link to third-party tools (such as email or payment providers). Those services have their own terms; we are not responsible for their availability or practices.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Our liability is limited as set out in your order form or master agreement where one exists; otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. We will indicate a new effective date when we do. Material changes to paid services may be communicated separately where required.
